Will the data for Chilidocs® be stored?

ChiliDocs® pulls data from the HubSpot CRM and uses it to populate a Word document. Is the data stored anywhere?

ChiliDocs® integrates with HubSpot to facilitate the creation of personalized Word and PDF documents. From a technical and security standpoint, its operation involves the following steps:

  1. Data Retrieval via HubSpot API: ChiliDocs® accesses data from HubSpot objects such as companies, contacts, and deals through the HubSpot API. This integration enables the seamless extraction of relevant information for document generation.
  2. Template Processing : ChiliDocs® utilizes a professional Word library, to process Word templates. These templates contain placeholders (e.g., [company.name]) that correspond to HubSpot data fields. During document generation, the tool replaces these placeholders with actual data retrieved from HubSpot.
  3. In-Memory Data Handling: To ensure data security, ChiliDocs® processes all data in-memory during document generation. This approach means that data is temporarily held in the system's memory (RAM) and is not written to disk or any persistent storage. Once the document creation process is complete, the data is purged from memory, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or data leakage.
  4. Document Generation and Output: After processing, ChiliDocs® generates the final document, which can be downloaded or saved as needed. The document creation process is designed to be efficient and secure, leveraging the capabilities to handle various Word document processing tasks.

By adhering to these technical processes and security measures, ChiliDocs® ensures that sensitive data is handled securely and efficiently during the document generation process.
